About the role
The Conservatorium Officer sits within the Arts Sport and Initiatives Unit in the Student Support and Specialist Programs Directorate. The role provides project coordination and operational support for the planningdeliveryand administration of state-wide music education initiatives including the NSW Governments Regional Conservatorium Grants Program and the Non-Tertiary Music Education Grants Program.
Working closely with internal teams schools and external stakeholders the Conservatorium Officer supports effective program delivery fundingadministrationand reporting contributing to improved access to high-quality music education opportunities for students across NSW public schools.
Key accountabilities
Provide project and administrative support to deliver agreed outcomes on time and toa highstandard
Prepare briefsreportsand documentation to support informed decision-making
Maintain systemsrecordsand contracts in line with policies and procedures
Track milestones risks and issues and report progress against plans
Liaise with stakeholders to coordinate activities and resolve routine and escalated enquiries

About you
Experience supporting grantsmanagingprogramsand inproject delivery
Strong organisational skillsandeffectivetime management across competing priorities
Clear written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders
Ability to manage information meet deadlines and follow procedures
Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the DepartmentsAboriginal Education Policyand upholding theDepartments Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECGand to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
Knowledgeunderstanding and experienceworking withthe NSW Government Grants Administration Guide
Current and valid Working with Children Check Clearance for paid employment.
Current and valid NSW Drivers Licenceand willingness to travel
Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to thevalue of public education.
