Job Summary
Do you have a strong background as a Bar Manager / Beverage Director We have an exceptional opportunity for a talented Beverage Director to join a well-established food & beverage operation in Downtown Detroit! Lead the charge with new innovative craft beverage ideas and lead a large team of talented hospitality team members. Outstanding medical benefits vacation and 401K match.
The Beverage Manager will oversee the bar and beverage program over multiple bars and restaurants.
Key components include:
- Beverage Menu Development
- Mentoring / developing bartenders & servers on proper service & beverage pairing
- Hiring & training bar/FOH staff
- Handle beverage purchasing / inventory procedures
- Minimize waste
- Hold staff to extremely high service & quality standards
Ideal candidates will have a Bachelors Degree in Hospitality and several years of experience as a Beverage Manager or Beverage Director in a high-volume restaurant group or hotel group with a large selection of craft beer wine and craft cocktails.
