To strengthen our application team we are currently looking for aApplication Scientist SC-XRD (m/w/d) in Karlsruhe Germany.
Responsibilities
- determining customersrequirements through technical sales consulting
- maintaining and channeling communication between customers and the company
- measuring reporting and presenting results on customer samples
- providing application input for system integrations and products developments
- planning and conducting customer visits to the applications department
- technical advice and support of service groups deployed on-site in problem cases
- choosing and compiling suitable application data for marketing materials
Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Chemistry Physics Biology Geosciences or related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in X-ray diffraction
- advanced background in single-crystal X-ray diffraction and hands-on experience withX-ray instruments
- flexibility communication andteam-work skills are required
- ability and willingness totravel (domestically and internationally) to customer sites and scientific meetings
- result-oriented work approachand self-organization capabilities
- fluent in English
