Clean Harbors in Winnipeg MBis seeking aField Service Technicianto join their safety consciousteam!This roleis associated with hazardous waste clean-up site remediation equipment decontamination working in confined spaces and the handling of hazardous materials.

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
• Operates light and heavy equipment including but not limited to pumps vacuum trucks and equipment oil spill boom generators bobcats etc.
• Performs chemical and water spills and environmental clean-up.
• Performs Confined Space entries -working with Tank and Vessel Cleaning.
• Performs work at heights on platforms.
• Performs various tasks associated with Hazardous Waste and Waste cleanups.
• Performs a variety of labour project work.
• Handles various hand tools and powered industrial tools including pressure washers and saws.
• Wears respirators for work.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Class 5 license and reliable transportation to commute to necessary locations.
• Previous labour/hazardous waste removal experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to be physical at work routinely lift and move objects.
• Previous experience working in confined spaces and at heights is preferred.
• Previous experience working with a respirator preferred.
• Ability to travel; this position can require overnight travel as needed.
• Ability to be clean shaven and wear respirator for work.
