Job Summary
The Square Kilometre Array Observatory (SKAO) project is an international effort supported by 16 countries to build the worlds largest radio telescopes led by the SKAO.
Ventia has been awarded a significant part of the contract and is leveraging our telecommunications capabilities for this exciting project.
Ventia is now seeking an experienced Building Information Model (BIM) Manager to join our collaborative Telecommunications team based at our Canning Vale office supporting delivery under the SKAO contract.
About the Role
As the BIM Manager you will be the custodian of BIM models and systems used across Ventia projects ensuring quality accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing maintaining and governing BIM models and associated systems
- Coordinating the collection and integration of project data to meet delivery requirements
- Developing and maintaining a BIM Management Plan in accordance with the NatSpec BIM Guide
- Assisting in the development of 3D model hardware and software coordinating these across all relevant disciplines
- Producing 3D CAD models using Revit
- Working closely with project managers designers and site teams to ensure accurate interpretation of project requirements
- Continuously identifying alternative solutions that drive efficiency cost reduction or performance improvements
About You
You are a structured and driven BIM professional with a collaborative approach and the confidence to lead across multidisciplinary teams.
You will bring:
- A tertiary qualification in BIM Management
- Previous experience in a BIM Manager role ideally within a comparable industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide both design and field teams
- Confident communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with clients and stakeholders
- A goal-focused mindset with strong attention to detail and continuous improvement
