Job Description Summary

You will be responsible for the management of controls across HSE Governance scope as part of implementation of a robust and effective second line of assurance on BCM (Business Continuity Management) & NEM (Novartis Emergency Management) and HSE in accordance with legislation internal rules good practices and business objectives.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Effectively execute and test the controls framework as per RCF (Risk and Controls Framework) methodology for HSE BCM and NEM.
Establishing and managing the HSE / BCM NEM Controls Framework its design implementation execution and continuous improvement.
Ensuring transparent HSE BCM & NEM Controls reporting is established for different organization levels e.g. local or unit level.
Monitoring on an ongoing basis the business risk profile considering for example organizational changes or changes in business model.
Defining Control Entities in scope supporting Control Entities in implementation of controls and remediation where needed.
Providing Training to Control Entities.
Managing the risk management process for HSE
Working closely and collaborating with other stakeholders like ERPC (Enterprise Risk Policy and Controls) EPRM (External Partner Risk Management) etc. to ensuring close alignment and effective control governance & oversight.

What youll bring to the role:

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

Strong experience in Compliance Risk Management or Control Framework related work.
Flexibility to work in a fast paced quickly changing work environment.
Ability to operate in a global matrix environment.
Proven ability to have demonstrated resilience.
Excellent knowledge of English language (written and spoken).

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

Bachelors degree in related area.
HSE BCM (Business Continuity Management) & NEM (Novartis Emergency Management) specific experience.
