This is a 12 month fixed term contract position.
About the team and the role:
The ECM team drives category growth and cross-border trade (CBT) across European markets partnering closely with sellers and cross-functional partners to scale pivotal initiatives. As part of this team the eBay Live CBT Junior Associate will support the expansion of the new eBay Live platform helping position it as a key growth lever within the evolving live commerce landscape.
In this role you will focus on identifying and activating high-potential seller supply for eBay Live with a strong emphasis on cross-border opportunities. Reporting within the ECM organization you will collaborate with category teams and cross-functional partners to onboard sellers analyze performance data and contribute to eBay Lives growth strategy across Europe.
What you will accomplish:
- Identify and prioritize high-potential ECM seller supply suited for the eBay Live format with a focus on cross-border trade growth.
- Use marketplace data and seller performance insights to recruit and activate top-performing sellers onto eBay Live.
- Source qualify and engage new seller leads across European markets to expand live commerce participation.
- Support onboarding and activation of sellers in partnership with ECM and cross-functional teams ensuring alignment with category and business priorities.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and live commerce market analysis to inform strategy and strengthen eBay Lives value proposition.
- Translate data and market insights into actionable recommendations that contribute to eBay Lives CBT expansion.
- Build knowledge of emerging live commerce technologies and marketplace dynamics while contributing to high-impact cross-market projects.
What you will bring:
- Proven interest in digital technologies online business models and marketplace ecosystems.
- Understanding of live sales formats e-commerce platforms and the broader competitive landscape.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into clear actions.
- Proactive solution-oriented approach with strong execution skills and attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and markets.
- Interest in cross-border trade and seller engagement strategies within a global marketplace environment.
- Experience in e-commerce marketplace operations digital sales or live commerce initiatives is a plus.
