Get to Know the Role

As a Lead Product Manager you will take ownership of some of our most critical and high-impact consumer experiences. While this role will initially focus on Navigation including building our next-gen turn-by-turn experience and elevating driver and rider confidence; youll also help define what map means in a superapp context: discovery multi-modal mobility planning and beyond. This is a high-autonomy high-impact role. Youll work with engineering design data and regional team members to define the strategy ship fast and deliver delightful and differentiated map-based experiences for millions of users. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Head of Product Consumer Maps based in Grabs South Jakarta office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Manage the product roadmap for navigation experiences and later expand to broader Consumer Maps initiatives.
  • Shape the product strategy for how maps can unlock safety convenience and monetisation in a superapp environment.
  • Work with design and engineering to build test and iterate features quickly.
  • Collaborate with internal cross team members - rider driver mobility and platform teams across multiple countries.
  • Champion user needs especially in the nuanced transport ecosystems of markets like the Philippines Vietnam Indonesia and beyond.

Qualifications :

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • You have 5 to 8 years of product management experience in consumer mobile navigation mobility or platform products.
  • You have experience working on complex 0-to-1 products areas and are comfortable operating and navigating changing constraints and still deliver measurable outcomes.
  • You communicate and tell stories well aligning cross team partners and inspiring action.
  • You are passionate about maps transport or spatial technologies (huge plus).
  • You have hands-on experience with GNSS/GPS positioning technologies or sensor fusion.
  • You bring a technical background or can dive deep with engineering on architecture APIs and constraints.
  • You understand Southeast Asian markets or have empathy for how consumers move through them.
