Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Madrid Spain. This role offers an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in cloud computing and DevOps practices contributing to the design implementation and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure and automation processes.

Assist in the deployment and management of cloud-based infrastructure using platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud
Collaborate with senior engineers to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
Support the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery processes
Contribute to the containerization of applications using Docker and assist in Kubernetes cluster management
Participate in monitoring and optimizing cloud resources for performance and cost-efficiency
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and application issues
Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of DevOps practices

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
0-2 years of experience in cloud computing or DevOps (internships or personal projects are valuable)
Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (AWS Azure or Google Cloud)
Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Knowledge of containerization technologies particularly Docker
Experience with version control systems preferably Git
Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python Bash or PowerShell)
Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and familiarity with tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
Fundamental knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
Cloud certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Azure Fundamentals) are a plus
Basic understanding of networking concepts
Familiarity with the software development lifecycle is beneficial
