Job Summary
CEDA is currently seeking Class 1 or 3 Driver/Operators for Pressure & Vacuum at our Edmonton AB location! You must be flexible and willing to travel between the Edmonton and Red Deer region.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain vacuum trucks high pressure water equipment and various specialty tools
- 90% of your day is outside of the truck boots on the ground!
- Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labor intensive capacity
- Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment our experienced crew has your back
- Ensure safety for all team members and property
- Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
- Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment
- Complete required paperwork for unit pre-trip inspections job reports and safety documents
- Challenge your eye for detail practice what we preach. Take your time get the job done right the first time and safely every time
- Provide guidance to Laborers as required
- Strictly observe and enforce all company and client safety requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 1 or 3 licence with no more than 5 demerits
- Experience driving manual transmissions (13 and 18 speed) passing a CEDAs driver assessment is required
- 1 years of labour or operator experience in an industrial environment
- CSTS 2020 H2S Alive ESC Confined Space and ESC Fall Protection certifications an asset (ESC Energy Safety Board)
- Able to provide a negative result on pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Able to travel between Edmonton and Red Deer (flexibility in scheduling is required)
Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
- Perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)
- Enjoy working outdoors the majority of the time in varied weather conditions
