SQL Database Administrator (Logistics)

We are part of an international shared services team delivering infrastructure and database support to multiple external clients primarily in France. Our focus is on ensuring secure stable and high-performing database environments across various industries.

As a Database Administrator you will:

• Install upgrade and patch database systems.
• Manage security backup and recovery.
• Migrate databases (including on-premises to cloud).
• Automate routine operations and support capacity planning.
• Collaborate closely with IT teams (systems networks cloud platforms) in a dynamic multinational environment.
• Were looking for a proactive solution-oriented professional comfortable working in a diverse international context.

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure databases.
• Perform maintenance tasks (e.g. rebuilding indexes updating statistics cleaning up old data).
• Manage patching and apply security fixes.
• Oversee database security (user permissions encryption).
• Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies.
• Automate routine database tasks.
• Migrate databases (on-premises to cloud).
• Troubleshoot and manage incidents.

Qualifications :

Must have requirements:

• Expertised in designing deploying and maintaining SQL Server environments for scalability reliability and security
• Experience with automation tools and processes
• Adept at troubleshooting complex SQL Server issues optimizing performance and tuning queries to meet business requirements
• MySQL Database Administrator
• PostgreSql
• English: B2
