Job Summary
This Operator responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production equipment ensuring consistent high-quality material output. This role supports construction projects by managing batching mixing and delivery processes while maintaining equipment inventory and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor plant systems including batching mixing and pumping equipment
Produce material in accordance with project specifications mix designs and quality standards
Perform pre-start inspections and routine maintenance on plant and mobile equipment
Adjust mix designs and production parameters based on job requirements and site conditions
Monitor raw material inventory and report shortages
Maintain accurate production logs batch records and quality control documentation
Troubleshoot mechanical or process issues and report major repairs as needed
Follow all safety environmental and company policies including housekeeping and dust control
Assist with plant setup teardown and relocation when required
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor repairs
Ability to read and follow mix designs production schedules and safety procedures
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required
Must comply with OSHA regulations and company safety programs
Participate in safety meetings and ongoing training
