About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and safety-driven Forklift Operator for a short-term assignment (46 months). This role is responsible for safely staging materials loading/unloading trucks moving product within the plant and supporting daily warehouse and production operations.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a forklift to stage material load trucks unload trucks and move material within the facility
Transfer material between departments as needed
Maintain safety as the primary focus in all tasks
Communicate and enforce all safety procedures
Support team goals by completing related or supplemental tasks
Assist in maintaining a clean organized FIFO-controlled warehouse
Maintain accurate inventory by identifying recording and placing materials in proper locations
Prepare finished stock for shipment by pulling identifying and securing product
Communicate professionally and identify opportunities to improve workflow or the environment
Perform additional duties or responsibilities as directed

Skills & Qualifications

Forklift operating experience required
Strong organization and time-management abilities
Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
Understanding of safety protocols in warehouse/manufacturing settings
Knowledge of FIFO and inventory control practices
Ability to lift materials as needed
Reliable attendance and strong communication skills

Position Details

Short Term: 46 months
Shift: 6:00 AM 6:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
Schedule: 2-2-3 rotating schedule (work 2 days off 2 days work 3 days; rotates weekly)
Weekend availability required
