Role Description
Role Description:
We are looking for a skilled SDET with 58years of hands-on experience in test automation using Selenium and Java. The candidate will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining robust automation frameworks and ensuring high quality across web-based applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworksusing Selenium WebDriver and Java
- Automate functional regression and smoke test suites for web applications
- Actively participate in requirement analysis test planning and test designactivities
- Execute automated test cases as part of CI/CD pipelinesand analyze failures
- Perform API testingusing tools/frameworks such as RestAssured or similar
- Conduct root cause analysisfor defects and work closely with developers for resolution
- Ensure test coverage across different browsers and environments
- Review automation code and enforce best practices coding standards and reusability
- Contribute to test metrics reporting and continuous quality improvement
Technical Skills
Skills Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Javaand Object-Oriented Programming concepts
- Extensive hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
- Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber (BDD)
- Good understanding of Maven/Gradlefor build and dependency management
- Experience with version control systems(Git)
- Solid knowledge of software testing fundamentals(STLC defect lifecycle test design techniques)
- Experience with API automation testing(RestAssured)
- Familiarity with CI/CD toolslike Jenkins GitHub Actions or similar
Nice-to-have skills
Good to Have
- Experience with SQL and database validation
- Exposure to cloud testing platforms(BrowserStack Sauce Labs etc.)
- Basic knowledge of performance testingtools (JMeter Gatling)
Qualifications
Qualifications
7-9 years of work experience in relevant field
or MCA degree from a reputed university. Computer science background is preferred
