This position is a 12-month co-op/new grad placement beginning May 2026.
We are looking to fill a total of four (4) Quality Design Assurance Associate positions to begin in May 2026.

About the role
The QualityDesign AssuranceAssociatewill have the opportunity to work with a cross functional and global group of medical device professionalsto ensure thatall design and development processescomply withregulations standards and internal quality will gain an understanding of product design and its history of use to guide design role requires a keen problem solverwithstrongattention to fromassessments and investigations will guideengineersin their design decisionstohave a directimpact onpatient care.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Risk Management:Apply systematic problem-solving methodologiestoidentify prioritizecommunicate and resolvequality and analysis of key quality trending information and data for specific products

  • Design Verification and Validation:Get hands-on experiencesupporting the development and oversight oftest methodstodemonstratemedical device safety and efficacy

  • Regulatory Complianceand Documentation:Maintaincomprehensive andaccuratedocumentation of design processes changes and decisionsin accordance withregulatory standards(ISO 13485 etc.)

  • Continuous Improvement:Help the Design Assurance team achieve their targets for continuous improvement projects to create more efficient and successful processes

  • In all actionsdemonstratesa primary commitment to patient safety and product quality bymaintainingcompliancetothe Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.

  • Other duties asrequired.

Required qualifications:

  • Actively enrolled in an Engineering degree or a recent graduate from aBachelors degree in Engineering

  • Ability to extract data from a variety of sources with an understanding of clinical context

  • Strongproblem solvingskillsand attention to detail

  • Able to balance multiple priorities at onceandwork on cross-functional projects

  • Proficiencyin Excel including Pivot Tables to organize analyze and present data

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with DHF (Design History File) and DMR (Device Master Record) documentation for medical devices

Minimum Salary: $26/hour

Maximum Salary: $30/hour

The anticipated compensation and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) see--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training pertinent education including licensure and certifications among other relevant business or organizational needs.

Compensation for hourly non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g. any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for salaried non-sales roles may also include variable compensation i.e. annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for sales roles is governed by Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives).
