Job Summary

Job Title: Electrical Engineer Intern

Job Location: Goleta CA

Job Description:

Perform circuit card design layout and test using industry standard tools
Determine electrical and system design approaches and parameters
Perform system analysis to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
Utilize modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data conduct experimental tests and evaluate results
Select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability
Perform simulations and present design reviews to peer engineers

Qualifications:

Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or related field

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge and/or experience with Power Analog VHDL MCM HFSS Network Controls Photonics Modem DSP MATLAB Communication Systems FPGA Martime industry or Optical Engineering
Excellent communication technical writing and presentation skills
Knowledge of Matlab Python
Knowledge of and/or understanding circuit analysis and operational concepts
Familiarity with various computing environments (LINUX/Windows)

In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in California Massachusetts New Jersey Washington and the Greater D.C Denver or NYC areas is $52000.00 MIN - $98800.00 MAX. The salary range for this role in Colorado state Hawaii Illinois Maryland Minnesota New York state and Vermont is $45760.00 MIN - $84240.00 MAX.. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
