Position Overview
The CLS Irrigation Service Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing the landscape irrigation systems and landscape lighting systems for clients while providing excellent customer service. This is a seasonal position depending on the regional location.
Job Duties
Troubleshoot repair and maintain irrigation and landscape lighting systems.
Provide clients with excellent customer service and recommendations on irrigation and landscape lighting solutions.
Identify locate and repair pipes fittings and wiring.
Maintain vehicles tools and inventory to ensure readiness and safety.
Program repair and configure timers and perform start-up and winterization of irrigation systems.
Maintain job records and complete work orders accurately.
Follow all safety rules regulations and work procedures.
Report timely and accurately to supervisor.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age to work in the field.
Must be at least 21 years of age to operate equipment as a Department of Transportation (DOT) certified driver for specific vehicles or equipment.
Ability to complete required safety courses upon hire.
Ability to complete Davey Career Development Program (CDP) books.
Valid Drivers License. Class B CDL valuable but not required.
Experience with computers or tablets.
Additional Information
Compensation rate for this position is $25 to $31 per hour based on experience
