Job Summary
Summer 2026 Co-op Full-time On-site in Ottawa
Position Overview
Reporting to the Plant Manager the Electronics Engineering Technician Student willassistthe Production team with operational and technical support asrequired.
Responsibilities
Perform RF testing on GNSS products
Debug products using schematics and technical documentation
Trim and tune ceramic RF elements to meet performance specifications
Support ongoing maintenance and repair (M&R) of production equipment
Maintain a clean organized and efficient work areain accordance with5S standards
Qualifications
Excellent hand soldering/rework skills
Some familiarity with RF circuitry and Vector Network Analyzers
Must be able to read and follow schematics and work instructions
Self-sufficient practical with a get things done attitude
Solid organizational and documentation skills.
Good communicationskills both written and spoken.
Excellent interpersonal skills works well in a team environment capable of supportive interaction with production
- Currently enrolled in an Engineering Technician diploma program or related field
Compensation
$23.87-$25.87/hour
