Job Summary
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Measure seniors vital signs review records.
- Identify changes in seniors physical well-being behaviours report to senior care staff or supervisor and caregiver if necessary. Record all communication notes submit incident reports where required
- Assist seniors in their medication
- Monitor seniors care plans and provide inputs
- Provide 1st line of support to medical emergencies/accidents/wound care. Use of PPE if required
- Assist seniors with ADL activities and hygiene care e.g. mobility transfers toileting feeding hydration fall prevention measures.
- Provide training to team in areas such as transfers toileting basic medical assistance
Support team in:
- Monitoring of seniors physical and mental health and well-being:
- Engaging seniors through planning and leading of exercises and activities
- Serving meals and tea breaks.
- Ensuring infection control procedures maintain cleanliness and safety of the premise
- Provide support as a transport escort to send and fetch clients to and from centre if BCLS-trained.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in a healthcare environment
- Advanced Diploma in Nursing/bachelors degree in nursing
- Full Registration with Singapore Nursing Board with valid Practicing Certificate
- BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) Certificate
REQUIREMENTS
- Passionate and patience in serving the seniors
- Required to attend to seniors who are mostly mandarin/dialect-speaking. Proficiency in mandarin and/or dialects is essential
- Humble willing to learn team player
- Self-driven willing to take on challenges
- Able to drive is an added advantage.
