Job Summary

Job Summary:

SPX Flow is looking for a Documentation Specialist who will be responsible for creating compiling and managing the customer pre/post-bid project documentation within SPX Application Engineering Team. The Documentation Specialist assists Sales and Application Engineering during pre / post bidding stage by ensuring that all documentation requirements are compliant and handed over to bidding team in accordance with the defined framework.

Principal Duties and responsibilities:

  • Work with internal teams to customize and develop standard doc. templates formats styles and Indexing.
  • Maintain Database or Library for easy searchability standardize by document indexing for quick retrieval.
  • Hands-On experience CAD tools (A- Cad & 3D Software) SAP Power point MS office and related applications.
  • Interpretation and creation of 2D drawings and 3D models Exposure to PDM / Vault added advantage.
  • Able to understand & to interpret of technical specifications BOM and to certain extent commercial terminology.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

  • Customer & Results oriented with Business minded and pro-active
  • Good interpersonal skills and proven team player.
  • Punctual well-disciplined and organized.
  • Must have the ability to understand the big picture of project work while maintaining attention to detail that accurate documentation requires.

Education:

  • Enrolled in a B.E / Mechanical and/or Chemical Engineering on full-time from a reputed university.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand for long periods of time and operate machinery and/or lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to kneel bend stoop walk or work in high precarious places. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision depth perception color vision and ability to adjust focus. PPE is required.

While performing the duties of this job the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and equipment of various sizes.
