HPC-Industrialpowered by Clean Harbors inNorco LAis looking for a Class A Roll-Off Driver to join their safety conscious team at a customer site!TheClass A Roll Off Driveris responsible for the transportation of hazardous waste from a generator/facility to a company facility and/or an outside disposal facility in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) hazardous waste (HAZMAT) and Resource Conservation & Recovery Act (RCRA) regulations.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the transportation of hazardous waste (tank van and/or roll-off dump trailer) from a generator/facility to a company facility and/or an outside disposal facility adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) and hazardous waste (HAZMAT) regulations; communicate regularly with Coordinators regarding daily times and demurrage.
Ensure proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste (i.e. drums are properly segregated and loaded etc.); Adhere to weights and ensure proper utilization of Company equipment.
Responsible for maintaining daily logs worksheets timecard expense reports dispatch & trip reports and vehicle inspection reports.
Maintain and clean assigned Company equipment as well as ensure equipment is mechanically sound and in good working order.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience:

Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training on-the-job training and essential experience gained on other jobs;
Language proficiency: understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations;
Valid drivers license CDL Class A and other requirements of companys driving policy required when driving company vehicle or using personal vehicle on company business;
Must be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment such as fire extinguishers.
1 year(s) of experience driving a roll-off vehicle.

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
Class A CDL License required
No Restriction on CDL License required
TWIC required
Clean/Safe driving record
