Heres how a Procurement Administrative Assistant for PCL Solar Constructors USA Inc. within Solar USA contributes to our team:

Responsibilities

  • Supporting day-to-day operations by performing administrative tasks for manager department or team.
  • Developing and maintaining customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Ensuring appropriate document control and compliance through filing composing and editing documents and reports for warehouse.
  • Gather vendor quotes and perform pricing comparisons and analysis in accordance with PCL procurement policies.
  • Create issue and manage purchase orders.
  • Receive goods and complete all required receiving documentation.
  • Investigate troubleshoot and resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Complete overage and shortage documentation for received orders.
  • Reconcile monthly corporate credit card statements.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma.
  • Associates or bachelors degree diploma or certificate in office administration program considered an asset.
  • 1 year of experience in an administrative role or equivalent technical experience.
  • Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to change.
  • Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Ability to effectively handle difficult situations and remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to create edit proofread and format documents/presentations.
  • Ability to analyze pricing and vendor information.
  • Basic skills in Word Outlook PowerPoint Excel Adobe and OneNote.
  • Proficiency with purchasing systems and basic accounting processes.
