Job Summary
Specialist (Learning and Special Needs)) - multiple head count & locations
About the role:
Care Corner Learning and Special Needs is seeking Specialists with a passion to support children with learning and special needs. This individual would ideally have experience teaching children in small groups and open to working from different
locations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Plan and teach English and Math to children (aged 4 to 12) with learning difficulties/disabilities
Plan and execute lesson plans to provide intervention support for children with learning difficulties
Conduct assessments for children on literacy/numeracy skills
Engage and communicate with childrens parents on concerns pertaining to childs progress and academic learning
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood/ Pre-School Teaching/ Early Years/ Special Education
Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs) will be preferred
Experience in specialized intervention methods with children will be an added advantage (e.g. OG Jolly Phonics)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Role levels: hiring requirement for minimum experience to Senior Specialist level
Location: required to work from different centers and multiple locations in Woodlands/Toa Payoh/Tampines
