Job Summary
Onsite Build Lead (OBL) Manager
The Infrastructure Delivery team at CoreWeave is responsible for executing build activities across our rapidly expanding data center footprint. We partner closely with engineering logistics and program leadership to deliver world-class capacity at scale with quality speed and safety as our highest priorities. As part of this team youll support the people and processes that make our physical infrastructure possible.
About the role:
As an OBL Manager you will oversee a team of Onsite Build Leads and ensure successful execution of data center build activities across multiple locations. You will manage installation quality safety compliance task sequencing and daily progress reporting while acting as the operational bridge between field teams and project management. Day to day youll coordinate team assignments monitor site health resolve operational blockers and maintain consistent build standards across all deployments. This role is hands-on fast-paced and critical to delivering reliable capacity at CoreWeave scale.
Location:The employee can be based anywhere in the UK Sweden Norway or Spain; extensive travel will be required. Please see below.
Travel:This role involves extensive travel throughout the UK and Europe. Regular travel- up to 50%- across Europe is required for this role. Candidates must be able to travel freely and undertake work activities within the EU and EEA member states without requiring additional visas.
Who You Are:
- 5 years of experience in data center colocation or large-scale infrastructure builds.
- Proven experience leading field teams or managing multiple concurrent build sites.
- Advanced understanding of racking cabling power installation network infrastructure and DC build sequencing.
- Strong working knowledge of QA/QC processes installation standards and safety protocols (e.g. LOTO OSHA).
- Proficiency with project tracking tools such as Asana Jira Confluence and asset management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret build plans site drawings MOPs and engineering specifications.
- Capable of producing accurate build reports milestone progress updates and documentation packages.
Preferred:
- Prior management of Onsite Build Leads or similar field deployment teams.
- Experience coordinating with GC/EC/LC vendors in a live data center environment.
- Familiarity with network integration workflows and hardware commissioning.
