Job Summary

About the role

In this role you will work hands-on with day-to-day financial operations supporting core business processes and making sure things run smoothly in practice. Youll take real responsibility for operational finance tasks and work closely with colleagues across the organization as well as external partners.

This role is a great fit for someone at the beginning of their finance career who wants to build strong practical expertise understand how finance supports the business and grow within an international organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Handling daily operational finance tasks related to Portugal and South Africa entities

  • Processing purchase invoices and preparing payment files

  • Managing bank accounts and performing bank reconciliations

  • Handling travel and expense claims

  • Supporting monthly reporting and related accruals

    • Monitoring cost center postings and correcting deviations

    • Taking ownership of expense lines in the profit & loss statement

    • Managing company credit cards

  • Posting payroll data and executing salary payments for PT and SA entities

  • Supporting VAT matters and Intrastat reporting

  • Working hands-on with ERP systems (NetSuite) and Excel to ensure accurate data and reporting

  • Contributing to continuous improvement of finance processes and ways of working

What were looking for

  • Relevant education or experience in finance or accounting

  • The ability to work independently and carefully

  • Courage to ask questions and investigate when something doesnt add up

  • A genuine willingness to learn and develop

  • Fluent English skills (our daily working language)

  • Good Excel skills

  • Experience with NetSuite is considered a strong advantage
