Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and result-driven SAT English & IELTS Teacher to prepare students for international high-stakes English proficiency and aptitude examinations including SAT Reading & Writing and IELTS (Academic & General Training). The role requires strong command over test formats scoring rubrics and band descriptors along with the ability to systematically raise student scores through strategy-driven instruction and targeted practice.

The educator will be responsible for building students academic English proficiency test intelligence and confidence across all language skills while delivering measurable improvements in scores and bands.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

• Achieve measurable score improvements including target SAT percentiles and IELTS band increases.
  

• Deliver structured test-aligned lesson sequences for reading comprehension grammar and language usage essay writing listening comprehension and speaking fluency.
  

• Design administer and analyze mock tests producing progress reports and score/band predictions.
  

• Ensure students meet admission-ready benchmarks for international universities and competitive programs.
  

Core Teaching & Academic Responsibilities

Curriculum Planning & Instruction

• Conduct diagnostic assessments to establish baseline proficiency target scores and realistic improvement timelines.
  

• Teach test-specific strategies including:
  

  • Evidence-based reading and inference (SAT)
    

  • Writing & Language focus on clarity coherence and grammar (SAT)
    

  • Band-targeted task response cohesion and lexical resource (IELTS Writing)
    

• Design lessons aligned to College Board and IELTS assessment frameworks.
  

• Build transferable academic skills such as paraphrasing summarizing critical reading and inference.
  

Reading Writing & Language Development

• Train students in skimming scanning and annotation techniques for time-efficient reading.
  

• Develop grammar accuracy and sentence-level precision for SAT Writing & Language.
  

• Guide students in essay structuring argument development and stylistic control.
  

• Build vocabulary systems and collocation banks aligned to IELTS band descriptors and SAT reading complexity.
  

Listening & Speaking Training (IELTS)

• Conduct listening practice sessions using exam-standard audio and timed conditions.
  

• Run speaking labs with recorded mock interviews and examiner-style feedback.
  

• Provide band-specific drills for fluency pronunciation coherence and lexical range.
  

• Train students to respond confidently across all IELTS speaking task types.
  

Assessment Diagnostics & Performance Tracking

• Administer regular timed practice tests for SAT and IELTS.
  

• Evaluate responses using official scoring rubrics and band descriptors.
  

• Maintain progress dashboards tracking accuracy fluency and predicted scores.
  

• Produce actionable feedback reports with clear improvement priorities.
  

• Adjust instruction based on data-driven analysis of student performance trends.
