Job Summary
Skill Stork International School is looking to appoint an experienced Tennis Coach to train and mentor students in tennis focusing on skill development physical fitness discipline and sportsmanship.
The coach will be responsible for structured training sessions preparing students for inter-school tournaments and nurturing young talent while ensuring student safety and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular tennis coaching sessions for students
Train students in forehand backhand serve footwork and match play
Design age-appropriate fitness and agility programs
Identify and nurture promising tennis players
Prepare school teams for matches and tournaments
Ensure discipline safety and adherence to safeguarding norms
Maintain attendance and performance records
Coordinate with the Sports Department and school leadership
Uphold school policies and professional conduct standards
Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
Diploma/Degree in Physical Education / Sports Coaching
Tennis Coaching Certification (AITA / ITF / State Association) Preferred
Experience & Skills:
Minimum 35 years of tennis coaching experience
Prior experience coaching school or academy-level players
Strong technical and tactical knowledge of tennis
Ability to train children and adolescents
Knowledge of fitness training injury prevention and first aid
Strong communication discipline and mentoring skills
Awareness of child safeguarding practices
