Whitefield Football Club & Academy is a structured grassroots and youth development academy affiliated with KSFA & AIFF. We are committed to long-term player development with a professional training methodology aligned to modern football principles.
We are seeking a Head Coach (U7 & U9) to lead our Foundation Phase program and build a strong technical base for our youngest players.
Tasks
The Head Coach U7 & U9 will be responsible for designing implementing and monitoring the complete training ecosystem for the Foundation Phase (Ages 69). This is a leadership role that requires strong grassroots pedagogy session design expertise and the ability to mentor assistant coaches.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical & Training Leadership:
- Design a structured yearly training curriculum for U7 & U9
- Plan and deliver high-energy age-appropriate sessions
- Focus on FUNdamentals: coordination ball mastery 1v1 dominance creativity
- Implement long-term player development principles
- Monitor player technical progression and provide structured feedback
Coach Management:
- Lead and mentor Assistant Coaches
- Ensure session quality control across batches
- Conduct internal coach reviews and training audits
- Maintain training standards and discipline
Player Development & Monitoring:
- Track individual player development metrics
- Conduct periodic parent feedback meetings
- Identify early-stage talent and pathway potential
League & Match Management:
- Prepare players for grassroots festivals & local tournaments
- Emphasize development over results
- Instill basic tactical awareness suitable for early ages
Requirements
Eligibility Criteria:
Mandatory:
- AIFF D Licence (Minimum)
- AFC C Licence (Preferred)
Experience:
- 3 years coaching U6U10 age groups
- Proven experience in structured grassroots methodology
- Experience in academy environment preferred
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Strong understanding of Foundation Phase pedagogy
- Excellent communication with young children & parents
- Energetic patient and detail-oriented
- Leadership ability to manage junior coaches
- Professional conduct and long-term vision alignment
