Teacher French
Purpose of Role
The French Teacher will be responsible for developing students proficiency in reading writing speaking and listening in French while fostering an appreciation for French culture. The role involves designing engaging age-appropriate lessons preparing students for assessments and encouraging confidence and enjoyment in using the language in both academic and everyday contexts.

Teacher French- Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging French lessons aligned with curriculum objectives.
- Develop students reading writing speaking and listening skills in French.
- Introduce aspects of French culture traditions and global context.
- Assess and monitor student progress through assignments tests and class participation.
- Encourage active participation confidence and enjoyment in using the French language.
- Provide additional support to students who need help in mastering concepts.
- Integrate technology and interactive tools to enhance language learning.
- Maintain a positive inclusive and safe classroom environment
Skills Qualifications and Experience
- Skills: Strong command over the French language (reading writing speaking listening) effective classroom management student engagement communication and ability to use technology for teaching.
- Qualifications: Bachelors or masters degree in French or related field; . or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience of 2 to 3 yrs in teaching French to middle school students (Grades 68) is preferred with exposure to curriculum design assessments and student-centred learning methodologies.
