Job Summary
Plastic Extrusion & Rotational Molding Operators & General Assembly-Bristol IN & Middlebury IN
All Shifts Available!
Pay:$16.00 1st Shift $17.00 2nd & 3rd Shift
We are looking for individuals to fill Operator and General Assembly positions in a manufacturing setting. Candidates must have strong work ethic attendance and desire to perform well during their shifts.
Job Duties:
- Operate monitor and adjust extrusion or rotational molding machines to ensure consistent high-quality production output.
- Prepare raw materials load molds or hoppers and verify proper material flow throughout the production run.
- Perform regular quality checks including dimensional measurements and visual inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot basic machine issues make minor adjustments and promptly report mechanical or quality concerns.
- Maintain accurate production documentation labeling and material usage logs.
- Follow all safety procedures housekeeping standards and equipment lockout/tagout requirements to maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50-75lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various roles.
- Ability work in high temperature work environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- 1-2 years in last position is preferred. Experience in a manufacturing setting is not required.
- Demonstrated ability to calculate with basic arithmetic and metrology using measuring instruments such as rulers tape measure and other quality tools at the line.
- Ability to operate common packaging equipment
- Ability to read prints and quality expectations
- Ability to read and understand work order information
- Ability to perform basic quality checks using gages and required measuring tools
