General Labor Job Description

General Laborers are responsible for performing a variety of physical tasks to support daily operations at a job site warehouse or production facility. Duties may include loading and unloading materials cleaning and preparing work areas operating basic tools and equipment assisting skilled workers and following safety guidelines. General Laborers must be able to work in a fast-paced environment follow instructions and perform physical work such as lifting standing bending and moving materials throughout the shift. Reliability teamwork and a strong work ethic are important for success in this role.

Common Responsibilities:

Load and unload materials or products
Clean and maintain work areas
Assist with assembly or production tasks
Operate basic tools and equipment
Follow company safety procedures
Support supervisors and team members as needed

Basic Requirements:

Ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy items
Ability to follow instructions and safety rules
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Previous labor or warehouse experience is a plus but not always required
