Job Summary

Qualifications
- ASE Certified with a minimum of 5 years of experience
- Knowledge in all or most aspects of major automotive repair
- Ability to or willing to learn to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Dexterity requiring a steady hand excellent hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Ability to learn new technology repair and service procedures and specifications
- Clean driving record & valid non-suspended drivers license
- Background check and drug screen
Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose maintain and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine transmission electrical steering suspension brakes air conditioning etc.
- Must have the ability to disassemble troubleshoot andreassemble a transmission. The ability to simply remove and replace a transmission is not sufficient to be considered for this position
- Communicate daily with the Service Advisor and keep them informed of the status of the job
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
- Maintain a neat and organized work stall
- Thorough documentation on all paperwork is mandatory
