Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Orion MI on a full-time basis.

The Role:

A Change Coordinator plays a key role in driving BTAB CIC and PTR implementation while supporting critical supply-chain systems launch execution scheduling and material management. This position serves as a central liaison across purchasing engineering warehousing/manufacturing logistics and suppliers to troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth operational flow. The role also oversees and coordinates PTR activities to validate material and part changes stemming from BTAB initiatives and supplier tooling updates ensuring accuracy readiness and alignment across all stakeholders.

What Youll Do:

  • Track all current and future engineering changes (both permanent and temporary) manage PTR schedule with plant buildability (production).
  • Order PTR material ensure timely delivery and clear material labeling
  • Assist with receipt of PTR material and coordinate delivery to appropriate plant location
  • Support plant engineering change coordinator to ensure appropriate timing for part changes
  • Ensure robust PTR status communication through various channels
  • Work closely with quality design supplier engineering throughout PTR process
  • Review BTAB and supplier tooling changes manage PTR process as required
  • Assess supplier schedules and impact on vehicle assembly production
  • Position is responsible for supporting relationship management with logistic suppliers and service providers

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 years of Supply Chain experience
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Strong organizational skills ability to manage large volume of time-sensitive tasks
  • Process oriented with focus on continuous improvement
  • Computer skills MS office proficiency in Excel
  • High level interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in MGO System
  • Quality engineering experience and/or education highly preferred
  • Bachelors degree
  • GMS experience
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures
