Job Summary

The IT ERP Project Manager is responsible for managing the ERP implementation life cycle to achieve both regional/global and local business requirements and ensures organizational goals are achieved. Ensures that the project stays within the pre-determined budget scope and schedule without falling short of expected quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The employee will:

Drive coordination with project stakeholders like IT staff department leaders and software vendors to gather requirements create execution plans allocate resources and manage timelines for deployment integration and optimization.
Find and mitigate potential risks troubleshoot issues and share periodic progress reports with senior management.
Beyond technical expertise exhibit strong communication leadership and organizational skills; able to walk the fine line between all involved parties.
Understand and is familiar with the ERP domain process areas able to drive meaningful discussions with operations leaders to ensure ERP systems being built are aligned with business requirements.
Organize the tasks and work manage dependencies to ensure successful completion and delivery

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS:

Bachelor of Science Degree (either IT Engineering Management Engineering BA
Ideally over 10 years of relevant functional experience.
Strong leadership and depth of experience in IT ERP projects.
Excellent team player ability to work well within teams and across departments
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and navigate complex environments.
Advantage not required: experience of championing organizational evolution e.g. leading initiatives products services or interactions
PMP certification is an advantage; MS Dynamics certifications on Dynamics 365 Finance or Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Implementation Planning and Execution: developing detailed plans and outlining the project scope timeline and budget. Responsible for defining documenting and meeting implementation goals.
Stakeholder Coordination: works closely with and facilitates collaboration among various project stakeholders from executive teams to department managers IT personnel consultants and end-users.
Testing and Risk Management: overseeERP testingto uncover potential risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies. Troubleshoot issues as they come up and tweak project plans accordingly.
End-User Training and Change Management: Drives a smooth rollout and optimal user adoption by helping build change management plans pushing and planning for training sessions and establishing plans for ongoing support to end-users. Addresses any arising issues or concerns helping end users get comfortable and proficient with the new system
System Monitoring and Upgrades: Post-implementation ensures continuous monitoring of system performance and managing required upgrades particularly during a hyper care cut-over period. Consider user feedback and changing business needs to make improvements that maintain and boost system performance.
Leads in Project Management Disciplines: Monitors project expenses and manage allocated financial resources effectively. Supervise quality control processes to meet required standards and specifications. Maintain in-depth documentation and and report to senior management on project plans deliverables and changes for transparency and accountability. Conducts post implementation reviews to assess project success and note for lessons for future projects.
Collaboration with Software Vendors: collaborate with ERP software and implementation partner to ensure timely service delivery and hands-on technical support and ensures ERP system comply with key regulations and standards to prevent legal and security issues.
Technology Proficiency Familiarity with ERP systems preferably MS Dynamics 365. If not D365 other leading ERP platforms such as SAP with focus on Finance and Supply Chain Operations.
