Dental Assistant

Mascolo Dental is looking for a Dental Assistant in East Northport New Yorkto assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.

As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. • Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms sterilize instruments and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome comfort and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays assist with impressions and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols maintain patient confidentiality and follow workplace regulations..
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
• Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification emergency drug and oxygen supply and emergency telephone directory.

• No experience needed
• X-Ray certification is required
• Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended
• High school diploma or equivalent

Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA HIPAA CPR and infection control training as required by law.
