Location: Onsite Atlanta GA
Compensation: $210000 $215000 base salary
Additional Compensation: Full benefits package annual bonus
Billable Expectations: 1900 billable hours 300 non-billable hours (2200 total)
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
The Opportunity
HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for a top regional law firm seeking a second- to third-year Corporate Associate to join its nationally recognized corporate and transactional practice in Atlanta.
This role is ideal for a high-performing early-career attorney who brings strong drafting and analytical skills and is eager to take on meaningful responsibility within an active collaborative deal environment. The practice advises clients on sophisticated corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions cross-border transactions and general corporate governance.
The firm is seeking candidates who demonstrate both technical excellence and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced transactional setting.
Key Responsibilities
Candidates will be evaluated for interview consideration based on demonstrated experience performing the following core responsibilities:
  • Support complex corporate transactions including buy-side and sell-side M&A matters
  • Draft review and negotiate key deal documentation and ancillary agreements
  • Assist with due diligence processes transaction management and closing execution
  • Provide general corporate support including governance entity structuring and strategic advisory work
  • Contribute to cross-border and international transactional matters as needed
  • Collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys while taking increasing ownership of discrete deal components
Only candidates with meaningful transactional exposure and strong drafting experience will be considered.
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
These qualifications are mandatory. Candidates who do not meet all requirements will not be considered for interview.
  • J.D. from an accredited law school must have graduated in 2023 or 2024 ONLY
  • 23 years (second- to third year ONLY) corporate transactional law firm experience
  • Meaningful exposure to M&A transactions including drafting and negotiating complex agreements
  • Exceptional writing analytical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Sound professional judgment and ability to manage multiple active matters simultaneously
  • Experience supporting cross-border transactions and general corporate matters
  • Active Georgia Bar membership required
  • Very strong academic credentials are required
Preferred Qualifications (Strong Differentiators)
Candidates with the following background will be viewed as standout applicants:
  • Additional experience across broader corporate advisory work beyond M&A
  • Exposure to international deal work and cross-border corporate strategy
  • German language proficiency (not required but a plus due to expanding cross-border practice needs)
