Supply Chain and Logistics Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Supply Chain and Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our companys supply chain operations. This role involves managing the end-to-end logistics processes from procurement and inventory management to shipping and delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills strategic thinking and a comprehensive understanding of supply chain logistics in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

* Oversee and manage the entire supply chain process including procurement inventory management order fulfillment and distribution.

* Develop and implement strategies to streamline logistics operations reduce costs and improve efficiency.

* Coordinate and negotiate with suppliers vendors and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.

* Monitor inventory levels to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.

* Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

* Create and manage logistics budgets ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or service levels.

* Develop and implement risk management strategies to handle disruptions (e.g. delays shortages etc.).

* Maintain compliance with industry standards safety regulations and environmental requirements.

* Supervise and mentor a team of logistics coordinators warehouse staff and supply chain professionals.

* Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments (e.g. sales marketing customer service) to align supply chain and logistics processes with business goals.

* Stay updated on supply chain trends technology and regulatory changes to ensure the companys logistics practices remain competitive and compliant.

* Manage vendor relationships including conducting performance reviews and negotiating contracts.

Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or a related field (Masters preferred).

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain and logistics management.

* Strong knowledge of supply chain management software (e.g. SAP Oracle or similar tools) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).

* Proven experience with inventory control transportation management and vendor relations.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

* Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

* Certification in supply chain management (e.g. APICS CSCP Six Sigma).

* Experience with data analysis tools and techniques for forecasting and demand planning.

* Knowledge of international logistics and customs regulations (if relevant).

* Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).
