Duties & Responsibilities
Job Description:
- Assist with the design and development of wet services fire protection and HVAC systems across a variety of projects
- Support senior engineers with rational fire and fire sprinkler designs
- Help ensure designs comply with relevant SANS standards including SANS 10252 part 1 & 2 SANS 10400-T (fire) and SANS 10400-P (plumbing)
- Contribute to hydraulic design work such as booster pump systems drainage layouts and hot water plant designs
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years experience early-career Mechanical or Civil Engineering graduate
- Strong interest in wet services and building services engineering
- Willingness to learn adapt quickly and develop technical skills under mentorship
- Exposure to hydraulic or rational designs during studies or internships would be advantageous
- Valid drivers licence and own vehicle preferred for site exposure
Qualification:
- Eng or BSc in Mechanical Engineering
- Pr Eng obtained is highly advantageous
