Niyam IT is seeking a full time Accounting Manager to join our team. This position is hybrid to Leesburg VA. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overall billing and contract management as well as participating in the development of policies and procedures. This position will cross-train in the preparation of financial reports and summaries.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Track time sheets against customer service codes
- Process monthly customer billing
- Provide general ledger reconciliation
- Prepare analytical reports
- Maintain contracts modifications and associated charge codes
- Maintain central repository
- Maintain and edit existing policies and procedures
- Assist in the development of new policies and procedures
- Advisor and strategic partner to the CFO
- Administer the Costpoint ERP application
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in business administration Accounting or Finance
- Five to eight years of experience in Billing for a government contractor using Cost Point Version 8
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Proficient in database and accounting computer application systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be local to Fairfax VA area
