Job Title: Senior Manager Media Relations
Organization: IN8 Group LLC
Location:New York
Status: Full-time
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage firmwide media relations function including oversight of external PR agencies
- Serve as primary spokesperson and point of contact for press inquiries
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets
- Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to align media strategies with business goals
- Design and implement proactive external communications strategies to enhance brand visibility
- Develop key messages positioning statements and media Q&As
- Provide crisis counseling media training and guidance on issues management
- Track analyze and report media relations metrics and performance
- Lead social media campaigns to enhance brand reputation
- Write and oversee press releases content and communications materials
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in English journalism communications marketing or related field
- 10-12 years of experience in public relations and media relations
- Experience in managing and partnering with external agencies
- Strong executive presence and ability to advise senior executives
- Excellent writing and editorial skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and high-stakes matters with professionalism
Desired Experience:
- Prior experience in law firms legal industry financial services or technology sector
- Experience in crisis and issues management communications
- Knowledge of national print broadcast and digital media
- Experience in social media strategy and activity
