Role: Java Developer (Java TypeScript)

Job Summary
Synechron is looking for a skilled Java Developer with strong TypeScript exposure to build scalable highquality enterprise applications. The role involves backend development with Java API and microservices implementation and collaboration across teams to deliver reliable testdriven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain robust applications using Java and TypeScript
- Build and consume REST APIs and work with microservices architecture
- Implement clean maintainable code with strong test automation
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams on design and delivery
- Participate in code reviews CI/CD pipelines and Agile ceremonies
- Support production systems and contribute to continuous improvement
Required Skills
- Java 8 with strong OOP fundamentals
- TypeScript development experience
- REST API development & microservices
- Messaging systems: Kafka or similar
- Relational databases (MSSQL / Oracle) or NoSQL (MongoDB)
- Test automation (unit & integration tests)
- Version control using Git
- Basic CI/CD exposure (Jenkins TeamCity or similar)
Good to Have
- Frontend exposure using TypeScript frameworks
- Experience with C#
- Docker / Kubernetes familiarity
- Cloud exposure (AWS / Azure)
Experience & Qualifications
- 4 years of Java-based backend or fullstack development
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- Certifications in Java Cloud or DevOps are a plus
