Why this role is important to us

A Solutions Engineer Accounting plays a critical role in shaping SimCorps go-to-market sales and marketing initiatives to support revenue growth and expand SimCorps presence across the Americas. With a focus on accounting this role helps articulate the value of SimCorp One to both prospective and existing clients.

Working closely with Sales Product Customer Success and Implementation teams the Solutions Engineer leads and coordinates client presentations and software demonstrations ensuring SimCorp Ones capabilities are effectively showcased and aligned to client needs.

What you will be responsible for

• Act as a subject matter expert on all areas as it relates to Investment Accounting in the Americas markets across all asset classes including Public & Private markets.
• Prepare and facilitate detailed SimCorp One software demonstrations presentations and workshops for clients and prospects.
• Hold regular meetings with prospects and clients to understand their current use of technology and systems and to identify opportunities to leverage additional available functionality not currently licensed.
• Prepare responses to prospective client RFIs (Requests for Information) and RFPs (Requests for Proposal).
• Ensure effective and detailed knowledge transfer from the sales process to the implementation team following contract execution.
• Provide input to the product team on market trends and evolving client requirements.
• Contribute to build out of local and global demonstration systems to reflect how the system should be used by clients in the various verticals; Pension Funds Asset Managers Insurance Companies Central Banks.

What we value

• 10 years of experience within the Financial Services Industry with exposure to the middle and back-office functions.
• Strong knowledge of North American Investment Accounting standards (e.g. IFRS US GAAP US STAT US TAX) is a must.
• University degree in business or technology.
• Practical experience with SimCorp One particularly as it relates to the Investment Accounting Book of Records (ABOR) is highly desirable.
• Experience across a broad range of Public & Private asset classes (e.g. fixed income equities derivatives).
• Excellent presentation and communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities with a solution-oriented mindset and a commitment to delivering outcomes.
• Methodical self-motivated and able to perform effectively during high-demand projects.
• Proven relationship builder with strong interpersonal skills both in client-facing engagements and cross-functional collaboration.
• A critical thinker with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Flexibility to attend SimCorp office 2x/week as per our hybrid policy.

For New York City only: The salary range for this position is 179000.00 - 200000.00 USD. Additionally employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including health care leave and retirement plans. Your total compensation may vary based on role location department and individual performance.

For Toronto only: The salary range for this position is 169000.00 - 190000.00 CAD. Additionally employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including health and dental care time off and Group RRSP/ total compensation may vary based on role location department and individual performance.
