Description:
Provide psychiatry services for children and adolescents in an outpatient setting. Obtain patient histories and perform examinations in order to generate comprehensive diagnoses and develop and execute plans of care for patients. Diagnoses in the patient populations may include mood and anxiety disorders psychotic disorders personality disorders eating disorders co-occurring substance use disorders brain injury co-occurring developmental disabilities and other general psychiatric conditions. Coordinate psychiatric services for assigned patients. Collaborate with a treatment team including advanced practice nurses licensed social workers and certified professional counselors; prepare timely and accurate medical records; and submit documentation of medical procedures for billing purposes. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Reqs: 1) Medical degree or foreign equivalent;
2) Completion of a Residency program in Psychiatry;
3) Completion of a Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry;
4) Possession of or eligibility for a Maryland medical license; and
5) Possession of or eligibility for Board certification in Psychiatry.
Compensation: $250000 to $265000 per year benefits package (employer provided insurance paid time off retirement plan etc.)
