Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire Inventory Clerks for a warehouse located in Suwanee!

Qualifications for Inventory Clerks:

After meeting all of PPS standard qualifications Candidate must meet below qualifications:

• Must know how to operate sit/stand forklifts.

• Must be highly self-motivated and directed.

• Must possess excellent problem solving and communication skills.

• Ability to manage prioritize workload and meet deadlines.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Assignment Duties for Inventory Clerks:

• Safely operate a sit/stand forklift to load and unload products from trucks and trailers in the receiving area.

• Transport materials pallets and products to appropriate storage location within the warehouse or distribution center.

• Inspect and verify incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality checking for damages and discrepancies.

• Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and labelling incoming products.

• Follow proper receiving procedures to ensure that all products and logged correctly into the warehouse management system (WMS).

• Organize and prioritize the placement of goods in designated storage areas to maximize space utilization and ease of access.

• Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift including checking fuel battery levels and performing basic safety checks.

• Assist in stocktaking or cycle counts as needed.

Shift Details: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-5:00PM

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
