Job Purpose
This entry-level role is designed for a motivated graduate or individual looking to start a career in website performance optimisation. The Associate Conversion Rate & Experience Optimisation Engineer will support the team in enhancing our websites performance through A/B and multivariate (MVT) testing. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in understanding customer experience improvements learning web technologies like JavaScript HTML and CSS gaining exposure to web analytics data analysis and cloud platforms and contributing to the teams goals.
Job Duties
Assist in the delivery of functional improvements to the customer experience on the website under guidance.
Support the design execution and analysis of A/B and multivariate (MVT) tests.
Develop foundational knowledge and practical skills in JavaScript HTML and CSS.
Learn to utilize front-end web analytics tools and contribute to basic analysis processes.
Assist with data analysis tasks learning to derive insights from datasets.
Gain exposure to full-stack application concepts and relevant technologies.
Learn about cloud platform architecture potentially focusing on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Understand and support the implementation of conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies.
Knowledge Skills and Experience
Bachelors degree in mathematics physics computer science or a related field.
Knowledge and/or experience in at least one coding language.
Ability to analyse datasets and identify trends.
Inquisitive nature with a strong desire to understand the why behind data trends and user behaviour.
Demonstrates a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
