Job Profile Summary
The Associate Director HR Data Stewardship and Data Products plays a key role in shaping and guiding the enterprise HR data landscape. The role contributes to the direction of the global HR Data Model HR Data Governance HR Data Quality and HR Reporting standards ensuring alignment with the organizational data strategy.
It oversees the lifecycle of HR data products supporting the design and delivery of scalable solutions that enable insightsdriven decisions across Prudential Group. The position engages with senior stakeholders promotes data ethics and compliance and drives initiatives to strengthen data culture within HR. This role reports into the Director People Analytics.

Key Responsibilities
- Data Governance
- Partner with the Director People Analytics in the development and implementation of the global HR Data Governance strategy ensuring alignment with enterprise data policies and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and enforce group standards for HR data quality lifecycle management and compliance across all markets.
- Influence senior leadership on data-driven decision-making and governance priorities.
- Enterprise Data Strategy & Integration
- Partner with the Prudential Data Office and Technology leaders to design a 360-degree employee view under a unified data architecture that integrates internal data (such as engagement and transaction data) and external data (such as compensation benchmarks and social listening data).
- Contribute to shaping the HR Data Model and taxonomy ensuring scalability and interoperability with enterprise platforms (e.g. Workday Power BI).
- Data Product Ownership
- Develop and manage the groupwide roadmap for HR data products and dashboard solutions from concept to delivery and ongoing enhancement.
- Support innovation in analytics reporting and dashboard capabilities enabling predictive insights and advanced workforce analytics.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Change Leadership
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior HR and business leaders influencing decisions on data strategy and governance.
- Manage the HR Data Stewardship community fostering collaboration and accountability for data quality across regions.
- Promote data literacy and governance awareness through effective communication and targeted training programs.
- Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to global data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR) and internal policies mitigating risks associated with sensitive HR data.
- Monitor governance effectiveness using KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Requirements
- Experience & Expertise
- 10 years in HR data governance analytics or data strategy with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing data governance frameworks and data product strategies.
- Strong expertise in Workday and/or PowerBI including governance security and advanced dashboard capabilities.
- Leadership & Influence
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive organizational change.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing global communities of practice.
- Strategic & Analytical Skills
- Ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable business strategies.
- Knowledge of data protection laws ethical data practices and risk mitigation strategies.
- Communication & Change Management
- Excellent communication skills able to articulate concepts and drive adoption across diverse audiences.
- Skilled in facilitating executive workshops and steering committees.
