Your future team:

You will become part of the Sustainable Sourcing team within Group Safety Health & Environment (SHE) working across Denmark and Poland. We are responsible for sustainability and due diligence in ROCKWOOLs global supply chain with a strong focus on supplier audits and compliance. As a team we set standards assess suppliers and ensure ESG requirements are embedded into sourcing decisions worldwide.

What you will be doing:

As a Supplier Sustainability Auditor you will play a pivotal role in our sustainability efforts by managing supplier questionnaires and audits ensuring effective follow-up process and embedding sustainability practices within our supply chain. You will serve as a key reference for Category Managers Group Sustainability and other stakeholders regarding supplier-related queries and compliance.

More specifically your main tasks include:

  • Preparing and managing supplier questionnaires and gathering feedback from suppliers
  • Ensuring internal follow-up and embedding of answers into general supplier evaluation
  • Maintaining and developing criteria for supplier audits to guide our sustainable sourcing practices
  • Collaborating with Group Sustainability Group Sourcing & Procurement and other internal stakeholders on audit planning execution and reporting
  • Performing both desktop and physical audits of suppliers
  • Preparing clear and detailed audit reports
  • Providing support and follow-ups on supplier questionnaires and audits

Although your new desk will be in the Nowy Rynek building in central Poznań Poland you will often travel primarily in Europe but could also be around North America and Asia mostly to perform supplier audits together with colleagues. You can expect to travel 30-40 days per year with trips varying from just a couple of days to a few weeks at a time.

What you bring:

  • University degree in Sustainability Environmental Science Social Sciences Supply Chain Management Human Rights Quality Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience conducting on-site supplier audits including direct assessment of supplier facilities and/or own operations.
  • Practical experience in supplier sustainability responsible sourcing or supply chain due diligence.
  • Experience evaluating suppliers against environmental social and ethical standards and developing corrective action plans.
  • Ability to independently conduct audits document findings and drive follow-up actions with suppliers.
  • Ability to interpret sustainability standards and translate them into clear actionable requirements.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience handling data and working with online audit platforms.
  • Familiarity with recognized audit frameworks (e.g. ISO 26000 SA8000 SMETA Higg RBA or similar) and/or digital supplier sustainability platforms (e.g. Sedex EcoVadis IntegrityNext or similar).
  • Understanding of procurement processes and how sustainability criteria are integrated into supplier selection and monitoring.
