Job Summary
Garli Group is a young diverse aboriginal business centred around the provision of civil construction disciplines workplace medicals environmental services marine industry support and providing civil works for the mining industry. We have offices located in Perth Brisbane & South Hedland. We provide project management and engineering experience and expertise to the Technology Resource Oil and Gas Power and Energy Government Civil Construction and Marine industries.
We are currently seeking a suitable qualified and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our project team on a MRWA Road Construction Project.
About the Project:
- Initially this will be a DIDO project located approx. 140 km north of Perth with a 10:4 day roster with camp facilities provided.
Essential Criteria
- Relevant qualification in civil engineering or construction management
- Minimum 2 years employment experience in civil construction industry (preference to MRWA experience)
- A valid drivers licence
- White Card
- High level of computer literacy Word Excel Outlook Project and PowerPoint
- Excellent safety work ethics and communication skills
- Sound knowledge and understanding of MRWA standards and specifications
- Flexible and understanding of regional work rosters and project requirements
- Strong ability to work with others: clients fellow workers subordinates and management
- Must be willing / able to work away at remote sites as well as work locally in the Perth Metro area
- Ability to complete satisfactory pre-employment medical
Responsibilities
- Assisting Project Manager with project reporting
- Liaising with Managers Supervisors and subcontractors onsite
- Providing site specific engineering expertise
- Compilation of Quality Assurance documentation (ITPs and MDR)
- Undertake visual inspections arrange testing and reporting
- Procurement of materials and engagement of subcontractors
- Communication and management of subcontractors and suppliers
