Job Description
Kuhio Ford is seeking an experienced Automotive Painter to join our body shop team. This role is responsible for preparing painting and refinishing vehicles to manufacturer and dealership standards. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail understands proper paint processes and can work efficiently in a fast paced collision repair environment.

Full time
Day shift
Monday through Friday
Occasional Saturdays as needed
Work Requirements
Ability to commute to Lihue HI required
In person on site position
Valid drivers license required
Responsibilities
Prepare vehicles for paint including sanding masking and priming
Mix and apply paint according to manufacturer specifications
Refinish panels and full vehicles to meet quality standards
Inspect completed work for color match finish quality and defects
Maintain a clean and safe paint booth and work area
Follow all safety and environmental regulations including hazardous material handling
Communicate repair status with body shop management
Document materials and repairs accurately
Qualifications
Previous automotive painting or body shop experience required
Knowledge of paint systems color matching and refinishing techniques
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
