We are looking for a dedicated Painter to join our production team and play a critical role in our finishing process. This position is central to our manufacturing operations ensuring that every unit meets the high visual and functional standards our customers expect. You will work within a high-efficiency manufacturing plant and coordinate closely with our warehouse teams to manage part flow. Responsibilities Include
- Precision Painting: Paint parts and units according to specific project requirements.
- Line Management: Guide the loading of products onto the paint conveyor to ensure proper flow and sequence.
- Logistics Coordination: Hang parts and kits on the paint line in the exact sequence directed by the planning and scheduling department.
- Equipment Operation: Set up operate and maintain automatic powder booths and shut down paint line equipment daily.
- Specialized Machinery: Safely operate lifts and the burn-off oven to prepare or process materials.
- Quality Control: Check all completed parts to ensure strict compliance with Worcester Plant Quality standards.
- Efficiency: Maintain the assembly line pace to meet both internal and customer requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: Experience with or ability to learn automatic powder coating systems.
- Coordination: Strong ability to follow complex sequences and scheduling directions.
- Physical Ability: Capable of hanging parts and operating heavy machinery/lifts.
- Attention to Detail: Committed to identifying defects and maintaining high-quality finishes.
- Reliability: Must be dependable to keep the assembly line moving without interruption.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Pay: Compensation is determined by candidate experience education certifications and specific job-related skills. $18.50- $19/hr
